FSU Art Education at the 2021 FAEA Conference

I recently returned from the Florida Art Education Association Conference and FSU had another great showing among faculty, students, alumni, and friends of our art education program. Recently retired FSUS art teacher, Debi Barrett-Hayes, won the Distinguished Service Award, while FSU alumna, Patricia Lamb, received the Pearl Krepps Legacy Award and was elected to the Board of Directors. Another FSU alum, Latonya Hicks, was elected the next president of FAEA! Presentations and contributions were accepted by FSU faculty (Amber Ward, Sara Scott Shields, Rachel Fendler, and yours truly) as well as by alumni and students (Caiti Bauer, Egda Claudio, Danielle Henn, Chrissy Schebilski, Victoria Mendenhall, Sarah Myrick, Latonya Hicks, Joanna Davis-Lanum, Dr. Susannah Brown, Jennifer Garcia, Laurie Hoppock, Bonnie Bernau, Kelly Kreps, Laurie Hoppock, Evelyn Pender, and Kendra Fairchild ). All apologies to anyone I might have missed. It was great time and I am honored to serve on the FAEA Board of Directors. Thanks to all who organized the event!
