I spent part of the last handful of days attending the virtual Global Conference on Hip Hop Education. (I was presenting on the visual culture and art side of things.) It was a refreshing and inspiring format for a conference that mixed together both academics and practitioners. I was honored to have my presentation included alongside others from Finland, Brazil, France, Kazakhstan, Morocco, England, South Africa, Tunisia, Belgium and many more. Thank you so much to the conference organizers from the Hip Hop Association of Advancement and Education for giving us a forum to share our work. It was an amazing event!
