Congratulations to my good friend and colleague- Dr. Rachel Fendler of Florida State University’s Department of Art Education- for her recent recognition at the Leon County Schools Outstanding Partners for Excellence Awards Ceremony. Rachel was recognized for her “Art for Life” Mentoring Program involving her graduate students and students at Augusta RAA Middle School. We are proud of Rachel for her accomplishments and all that she does – not just at FSU – but for local schools and the community. I’m so lucky to work with so many great colleagues who do so many amazing things. Way to go, Rachel!
