Florida State University’s College of Fine Arts was a proud co-sponsor of the 3rd annual Art Education Research Institute Symposium held on the campus of Northern Illinois University, Naperville. The symposium featured research presentations from leading scholars in art education across North America including FSU professors (Dr. Sara Scott Shields and Jeff Broome), alumni (Dr. Ryan Shin and Dr Jaehan Bae), and current doctoral student (Yiwen Wei). Jeff Broome was proud to serve as the co-chair of the symposium under the guidance of Dr. Kerry Freedman of Northern Illinois University. The event was a tremendous success, and we look forward to the next symposium in New York City.
