Florida State University’s Department of Art Education hosted a free workshop with Olivia Gude from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this past Friday (June 1) and it was an overwhelming success! Professor Gude’s workshop was inspiring and there was a huge turn-out from FSU students and art teachers from Leon County, Wakulla County, St. Augustine, Sarasota, St. Lucie County, and Thomasville, Georgia. The Department of Art Education is always proud to offer professional development credit in the subject area of art for free to participating teachers, and it was an honor to host Olivia Gude as well.
