Congratulations to the 2017 cohort of student teachers from Florida State University’s Department of art education for successfully completing their instructional internships during the fall semester. This outstanding group of preservice art teachers was expertly led by FSU’s Art Education Coordinator of Teacher Certification (Dr. Sara Scott Shields) and a group of dedicated instructors and University Supervisors (Dr. Rachel Fendler, Deb Gerardi, Jennifer Hammock, and Danielle Horak). It is so exciting to know that – after graduation – this group of student art teachers is ready to enter the profession of K-12 art instruction! Congratulations to Kimberly Sterns, Victoria Munsell, Haley Edson, Emily McCullers Kelly, Sammantha Sanchez, Capri Andrews, Jessica Barthel, and Leigha Kelly-Knight. Special congratulations goes to Victoria Munsell, who will be graduating during this December’s commencement ceremony. We are so proud of you all!
